Carrick to be offered two-year extension?

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offer midfielder Michael Carrick a two-year contract extension.

The England international recently expressed a desire to agree fresh terms with the Premier League champions and possibly end his career at Old Trafford.

Club officials will hold contract talks with Carrick, who will turn 33 next summer, within the next two weeks, according to Goal.com.

The midfielder's current deal with the Red Devils expires at the end of the season.
