Berbatov 'to train with Man United'

Dimitar Berbatov will reportedly train with former club Manchester United next week as the experienced forward looks for a move ahead of the January transfer window.

The Bulgarian veteran, who represented Man United between 2008 and 2012, is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Greek outfit PAOK at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

According to Sportal, Man United boss Jose Mourinho has offered the 35-year-old the chance to train at Man United's Carrington complex as the striker looks for a move to a Premier League club at the start of next month.

Berbatov scored 56 times in 149 appearances during his time at Man United, winning two Premier League titles in the process.

The experienced forward, who will turn 36 at the end of next month, has since represented Fulham, AS Monaco and PAOK.
