Man Utd transfer news: Red Devils 'weighing up' shock January move for Premier League midfielder

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams during the January transfer window.

The Red Devils are set to battle the South Coast Cherries for Premier League points at the Theatre of Dreams on Monday night.

Adams has enjoyed a solid start to the 2025-26 campaign at the Vitality Stadium for Bournemouth, who are looking to compete in the top half of the standings.

The 26-year-old has netted twice and provided one assist across 14 top-flight matches. starting all of those contests.

Bournemouth are currently in the midst of a six-game winless run, last tasting victory at home to Nottingham Forest on October 26.

According to the Daily Mail, a United States star could be making the switch across Premier League battlelines in the January window.

The report claims that English giants Manchester United are considering a shock swoop for the services of Adams in the New Year.

It is understood that the 26-year-old would be available for around £40m, making him a cheap option for the engine room.

Players such as Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba have also been linked to the Red Devils, both donning £100m price tags.

After a difficult few years at the Theatre of Dreams, Casemiro is currently holding down the fort in the United midfield.
