How Manchester United could line up against Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up in Friday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has near enough a fully-fit squad to choose from for Friday's Premier League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils have welcomed Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford back from respective foot and back injuries during the coronavirus-enforced shutdown.

United hit a fine run of form prior to the three-month hiatus, going 11 matches without defeat in all competitions, culminating in a 5-0 win over LASK Linz in their most recent outing on March 12.

With plenty of players to choose from, Sports Mole looks at how Solskjaer may set out his side for Friday's trip to North London.

Pogba has got a few weeks of training under his belt, but widespread reports suggest that Solskjaer will not risk starting the Frenchman on Friday.

That should mean Nemanja Matic retaining his place in holding midfield alongside Scott McTominay, who impressed with his goal from the bench against Manchester City in United's last league match and may have done enough to displace Fred.

The back five, including goalkeeper David de Gea, picks itself with all the regulars being fit.

The front four also appears pretty nailed on as Rashford is expected to return to the side on the opposite flank to Daniel James, with star man Bruno Fernandes playing just off Anthony Martial.

Odion Ighalo, who extended his loan stay at Old Trafford during lockdown, is another option to lead the attack.
