A report claims that Jose Mourinho is concerned about the lack of support he has received from vice-chairman Ed Woodward, among others, during a difficult period.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly fears that he is not getting the full backing of his superiors at Old Trafford.

The 55-year-old's future as Red Devils manager remains unstable following Tuesday night's 1-0 loss to Juventus in the Champions League.

United have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions, leading to rumours that the Portuguese will be on his way out of the club sooner rather than later.

Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding his job, Mourinho is said to be growing concerned by the lack of support he has been given by those above him, such as executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

The Sun suggests that Mourinho has already been warned by his bosses to stop moaning in public, as they fear that it is hurting the club's reputation around the world.

United return to action on Sunday afternoon with a home league match against Everton.
