Valarenga 0-0 Manchester United

Manchester United played out a goalless draw against Valarenga in Oslo this afternoon.

The returning Nemanja Vidic played alongside Rio Ferdinand in a strong United team which also featured England trio Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Ashley Young making their return after Euro 2012 duty.

New signing Shinji Kagawa was introduced in the second half but was unable to make the breakthrough for the Red Devils.

United continue their pre-season preparations in a showpiece friendly against Barcelona on Wednesday, August 8.
