Preview: Manchester United vs. Stoke City

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Premier League meeting between Manchester United and Stoke City.

Manchester United will be looking to build on their Champions League success in midweek when Stoke City visit Old Trafford on Saturday.

David Moyes's side edged past Real Sociedad on Wednesday evening to remain top of their group.

However, last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Southampton means that the Red Devils currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.

Stoke ended a run of three consecutive defeats last weekend when they drew with West Bromwich Albion.

Mark Hughes's team have not tasted victory in the league since a 1-0 success over West Ham United at the end of August.

United striker Robin van Persie missed the midweek clash against Real Sociedad with a toe injury but could be fit enough to face the Potters. Jonny Evans and Phil Jones are set to continue their partnership in the centre of defence while Marouane Fellaini is in line to start.

For Stoke, Geoff Cameron remains doubtful for the match as he continues to recover from a calf injury, so Andy Wilkinson could deputise at full-back.

Oussama Assaidi, Marko Arnautovic and Jonathan Walters are expected to be handed starts by manager Hughes.
