World's richest sports teams revealed in new poll

Manchester United are the richest club in sport, according to a new poll for Forbes magazine.

Sir Alex Ferguson's are top of the pile with an estimated worth of £1.43bn, beating Real Madrid in second place.

Football featured four times in the top ten teams, with Barcelona (£838m) and Arsenal (£825m) coming in eighth and tenth place respectively.

American football dominated the list, with all 32 NFL franchises coming in the Forbes top 50.
