Raphael Varane reacts to welcome from Manchester United fans

Raphael Varane reacts to the reception that he received from the Manchester United fans at Old Trafford.

Raphael Varane has taken to social media to react to the reception that he received from the Manchester United fans when he was presented at Old Trafford ahead of Saturday's clash with Leeds United.

The Red Devils finally confirmed the France international's arrival before kickoff against Leeds on the opening weekend of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign.

Varane took to Twitter shortly after full time on Saturday to react to a post from Man United which showed the excitement of the supporters at the centre-back's move.

The World Cup winner could potentially make his debut for the 20-time English champions in next weekend's Premier League clash with Southampton at St Mary's.

The 28-year-old will seemingly battle Victor Lindelof for the spot alongside club captain Harry Maguire in the middle of the back four this term.

Fellow new arrival Jadon Sancho made his debut for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side as a second-half substitute in the thumping 5-1 win over Leeds.
