Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has dismissed suggestions that he could become embroiled in 'mind games' with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese coach is renowned for his attempts to rile his rivals through the use of the media, but Van Gaal doesn't think that such tactics will be a factor when the two teams meet this coming season.
Asked about Mourinho's strategy, the Dutchman told reporters: "No. I play against Chelsea. And not against Jose Mourinho. My team and his team are playing against each other.
"He shall not do that with me. I'm not reacting to that kind of stuff."
United beat Inter Milan 5-3 on penalties in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
