Edwin van der Sar to join Ajax?

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar will reportedly take an advisory role with Dutch club Ajax.

The 42-year-old won four league titles and a Champions League during his nine years with Ajax, but it had been suggested that he would take a coaching role at United.

However, according to talkSPORT, the Netherlands international will join Ajax as a director and become part of an impressive setup at the club.

Frank de Boer, Dennis Bergkamp and Marc Overmars are all part of the staff at the former Champions League winners.
