Manchester United defender Luke Shaw believes that winning the Premier League title is still a possibility despite the club's failure to beat Stoke City on New Year's Day.
The 1-1 draw at the Britannia Stadium left United nine points adrift of both Chelsea and Manchester City, but Shaw has insisted that the club should still be aiming to become champions rather than settling for third spot and a Champions League place.
The 19-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "We are not going to say the Premier League is over yet. The league is still our number one priority. We want to win that.
"Going to Stoke was always going to be a tough battle. There's a lot of balls in the air so it's tough. We know when we come away, we have to get three points so we are not very pleased with the point."
Shaw has made nine appearances for the club since arriving at Old Trafford during the summer.
