Morgan Schneiderlin: Premier League title "not impossible"

Morgan Schneiderlin refuses to rule Manchester United out of the running to win the Premier League title this season.

Morgan Schneiderlin has insisted that Manchester United can still win the Premier League title.

A run of two victories from their last 10 outings has left the Red Devils fifth in the table, 10 points adrift of leaders Leicester City.

Despite that gap, United's French midfielder has claimed that it is "not impossible" for his side to be crowned champions of England for a 21st time come the end of the season.

"Every game is a big game for this football club, especially in our position now. We need to look at each game as a cup final and to win every one until the end of the season," he told United Review.

"We can see that the gap is getting a bit bigger in the table but [the title] is not impossible. For the second part of the season we want to improve our game and win as many matches as we can to be a contender for the title and be in the Champions League, because that's very important to this club."

This evening United will play host to Stoke City at Old Trafford, having lost 2-0 to the Potters on Boxing Day.
