Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane backs the club to qualify for the Champions League this season following the 3-1 Premier League win over Arsenal.

Roy Keane has backed Manchester United to qualify for the Champions League this season.

The former United midfielder was talking after the club's 3-1 Premier League win over Arsenal on Sunday, which represented their fourth consecutive victory.

A debut goal for Antony and Marcus Rashford's brace helped the Red Devils claim all three points, and following the game, Keane was asked who would finish higher out of Arsenal and United.

Keane told Sky Sports: "United. I think United will search for the top four. I think they've got a settled group now. New manager settling in. United for me."

Meanwhile, in response to the same question, Gary Neville said: " I think City, Liverpool and Tottenham will finish in the top three.

"I think Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United... it's a big battle. I think United will struggle to get into the top four, personally.'

Like Keane, former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink also believes that Erik ten Hag's side will finish above Arsenal in the Premier League.

Hasselbaink said: "I think United will. They'll find a way of playing. They can't keep on playing the whole season like this. They need to improve.

"But I think they will get above Arsenal. I think Chelsea will be in the top four... with Man United, Manchester City, Liverpool. Tottenham don't."

Man United will turn their attention to Thursday's Europa League meeting with Real Sociedad at Old Trafford before facing Crystal Palace in their next Premier League contest.
