Arjen Robben backs "great talent" Memphis Depay to thrive in Premier League

Arjen Robben has described out-of-form Manchester United winger Memphis Depay as a "great talent" and has backed him to thrive in the Premier League eventually.

Depay, 21, has netted once in eight top-flight outings for United following a £25m move from PSV Eindhoven, culminating in being dropped to the bench for the last three league games.

Having netted 22 Eredivisie goals from a wide position last term, the Dutchman brought a big reputation with him to England, and his Netherlands teammate says that he will live up to it.

"Memphis is a great talent," Bayern Munich ace Robben is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "I am convinced he will settle at Manchester United."

Depay has scored four goals in all competitions for the Red Devils, with two of those coming in a Champions League playoff tie with Club Brugge.
