Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino says that it is "a good sign" that he is currently being linked with Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that it is "a good sign" that he is currently being linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Argentine has allegedly been identified by the 20-time English champions as their number one choice to become the club's next permanent manager.

Pochettino has insisted that he is "very happy at PSG", but the former Tottenham Hotspur head coach has welcomed the rumours surrounding his future.

"I am very happy at PSG. We are used to rumours and that's a good sign, it means we are doing a good job. But we don't create rumours, we don't take advantage of rumours," Pochettino told reporters.

Ralf Rangnick is expected to become Man United's interim manager for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign, replacing Michael Carrick, who has been placed in the role following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's departure.

Pochettino has only been in charge of PSG since January, taking control of 54 matches for the French giants, boasting a record of 37 wins, seven draws and 10 defeats.
