Phil Neville is reportedly expected to be named as David Moyes's first-team coach at Manchester United after arriving at the club's training ground.

Phil Neville has reportedly returned to Manchester United as a member of new manager David Moyes's coaching staff.

The 36-year-old, who announced his retirement from football at the end of last season, is understood to have been snapped up by Moyes, who coached the ex-Everton captain at Goodison Park for eight years.

Neville, who was spotted arriving at the club's Carrington training ground this morning, is expected to be named as Moyes's first-team coach and join him in overseeing today's training session, according to the Daily Mail.

Before moving to Everton as a player, Neville, who holds a UEFA B Licence, spent 10 years at Old Trafford.
