David Moyes: Wayne Rooney has "a chance" to face West Ham United

Manchester United manager David Moyes insists that there is a chance that striker Wayne Rooney will play against West Ham United.

David Moyes has reiterated that Wayne Rooney has "got a chance" of making Manchester United's squad for their Premier League match against West Ham United this weekend.

The striker missed the team's League Cup quarter-final with Stoke City earlier this week with a groin injury, but may be ready to return tomorrow.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the manager told reporters: "Wayne has got a chance, so we will see how he is tomorrow.

"We have seen recently, in the last couple of games, we have been a little bit short in areas but the players who have come in have done brilliantly well. We have needed the whole squad, we really have."

Rooney has scored 10 goals this season.
