Pepe Mel reveals Manchester United win?

Real Betis coach Pepe Mel has revealed on Twitter that his side lost 3-0 to Manchester United in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Saturday.

Although the match took place in private, Mel confirmed on his Twitter page that United struck three times without reply against his side at United's Carrington training ground.

It has been reported that Wayne Rooney was part of the side that started the friendly encounter, while Nemanja Vidic, Nani and Javier Hernandez are also believed to have featured.

Rooney is expected to feature when United face AIK Fotboll in Sweden on Tuesday.
