Nemanja Matic likes Instagram post slamming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Nemanja Matic likes an Instagram post which slammed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's management skills following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Southampton on Saturday.

Nemanja Matic has caused controversy by liking an Instagram post which slammed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday.

The Red Devils have now failed to win any of their last three games and picked up severe criticism for failing to beat a Southampton side who offered little attacking threat and played the last 20 minutes with 10 men after Kevin Danso was sent off.

Matic, who suffered a poor 2018-19 campaign, has not started any of United's last four games, with Solskjaer preferring the duo of Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay so far this season.

The Instagram post reads: "Matic if #Ole Gunnar Solskjaer don't want to future you in his team please leave the team I think that man is sp (sic) myopic that he doesn't know he needs you in the midfield, I am beginning to hate Ole."

Doubts over the Norwegian's credentials have ramped up since the result, with many pointing out United's record of three wins in 13 games.

United will have the chance to quieten discontent among supporters when they take on Leicester City at Old Trafford after the international break.
