Juan Mata calls on Manchester United to build on Arsenal win

Juan Mata stresses the importance of Manchester United continuing their "good streak" following the 2-1 win over Arsenal.

Juan Mata has encouraged his Manchester United teammates to ensure that they use Saturday evening's 2-1 victory away at Arsenal as a springboard for upcoming encounters.

The win at the Emirates Stadium was United's first away from home this season and it also lifted them up to fourth in the Premier League table.

With home matches against Hull City and Stoke City to come, playmaker Mata has insisted that the Red Devils should now be looking to cement their place within the top four.

"Following Saturday's victory, we had an intense training session on Sunday and we also reviewed the game in London. Now we are looking forward to our next two consecutive games at Old Trafford," the Spaniard wrote on his blog.

"This win was very important, that's for sure. We are fourth now and we want to keep climbing the table. After two victories in a row, all we want now is to maintain this good streak. It's not going to be easy against Hull and Stoke, but we hope to play two good games and win."

United have lost just one of their last six Premier League outings.
