Aleksandar Kolarov: 'We can bounce back against Manchester United'

Aleksandar Kolarov targets victory for Manchester City as they host local rivals Manchester United, looking to bounce back from two defeats in a week.

Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov believes that victory in Sunday's clash with Manchester United is the perfect way to bounce back after a disappointing week.

The Premier League champions host their fierce rivals on the back of two defeats, and the left-back thinks that a win can get Manuel Pellegrini's side back on track.

"We've had a difficult week and I think it is a great game to try to win," Kolarov told Sky Sports News.

"[A win] means we can start fighting for the title. Obviously without David Silva it will be difficult because he is a massive player for us. I think we have a lot of good players and they can replace him.

"I think it is always 50-50, but we need to show we are at home and be aggressive."
