Adnan Januzaj earns senior Manchester United recall?

Adnan Januzaj's two-goal salvo for the Under-21s reportedly earns him a recall to the senior Manchester United squad for Saturday's game against Southampton.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly decided to include Adnan Januzaj in the matchday squad for Saturday's Premier League encounter against Southampton.

In August the 20-year-old was loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the season, but that move was cut short earlier this month with Januzaj having failed to start one Bundesliga match.

Upon his return to Old Trafford, Van Gaal informed Januzaj that he would have to prove himself worthy of a recall to the senior side by playing for the club's Under-21 team.

He did that on Monday evening, scoring twice as the development outfit defeated their counterparts from Southampton 4-0.

According to The Mirror, Van Gaal was suitably impressed by the Belgian's performance to pick him for the upcoming visit of the Saints.

Januzaj found the net once during his four appearances for United at the start of the campaign.
