Javier Hernandez suffers hip injury

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has been ruled out of this evening's Premier League encounter against Southampton with a hip injury.

However, the Mexican is expected to be fit for his side's match against Fulham on Saturday.

Hernandez has scored 14 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season.

United can move seven points clear of Manchester City with a win over Southampton tonight.
