Ryan Giggs: 'Management interests me'

Giggs eyes managerial role

Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has revealed that he is interested in becoming a manager once his playing career ends.

The 38-year-old's current contract with the Red Devils runs out at the end of the season, and although he is keen to continue playing, he has one eye on football management.

"When I do finish playing, I'll try to find the next best thing," Giggs told The Telegraph. "Management does interest me.

"The nearer I get to finishing, the more I think about it. All I can do is prepare myself as best I can for when I do finish.

"I've been doing my coaching courses with Nev (Gary Neville) – levels one two, A-Licence. We're starting the Pro-Licence next year."

Giggs has won the Premier League 12 times, the FA Cup on four occasions and the Champions League twice with United.
