Giggs 'eyes manager job'

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has admitted that he is interested in becoming a manager when his playing career ends.

The 38-year-old, who is preparing to captain the Team GB men's football team at the forthcoming Olympics, is already fully qualified for a job in coaching.

He told The Mirror: "Coaching is something I'm looking at more and more.

"In the middle of last season, I completed my UEFA A Licence, which was good. It's a different side of things, completely different to being a player.

"I want to gather as much knowledge as I can and prepare myself as best as I can, if I do want to go into management or coaching."

Giggs made his United debut 21 years ago and has since featured 909 times for the Old Trafford club.
