Sir Alex Ferguson impressed by "fantastic" Sean Dyche

Sir Alex Ferguson claims that Burnley's Sean Dyche is currently one of the most promising young managers in the English game.

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he has been very impressed by Burnley manager Sean Dyche in the early stages of his coaching career.

The former Manchester United manager was well known in the English game for the relationships he enjoyed with fellow Premier League bosses, and he has singled out Dyche for praise when speaking about the current crop of young coaches.

"I had a chat with Sean Dyche – he phoned me not so long ago. I think he is one of the promising managers in the game," Ferguson told MUTV. "The job he has done at Burnley has been fantastic.

"I like to see young people do well."

Dyche's side, who currently sit 19th in the table, host West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
