Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he has no plans to retire for another "two or three" years.
Ferdinand is out of contract at the end of the season, and with a new deal yet to be agreed, there was some talk of the centre-back hanging up his boots.
However, Ferdinand, who has made 21 appearances this season, is hopeful of continuing his career until 2017.
The 35-year-old told BT Sport: "I feel fit, I feel healthy, I feel good.
"I'm enjoying my football so I'll definitely be playing on for another year, hopefully two or three more. But I'll take it year by year and hopefully another year."
The former England international is coming to the end of his 12th campaign at Old Trafford.
