Jonny Evans has said that Manchester United can effectively eliminate Tottenham Hotspur from the Premier League title race today.
The Red Devils hold an eight-point advantage over Spurs ahead of this afternoon's showdown at White Hart Lane, and a defeat would leave the London club 13 points adrift of first place with 11 games to go.
"It would be massive if we won," said Evans. "It's a big game for us in the title race but even more so for Spurs.
"If we went there and won we'd eliminate them from the title race. It's getting to the stage now."
Meanwhile, United trail rivals Manchester City by five points ahead of today's fixture.
