David de Gea: 'Marcos Rojo will provide quality'

Manchester United keeper David de Gea feels that Marcos Rojo will be an excellent addition for the Red Devils following his £16m move from Sporting Lisbon.

Manchester United keeper David de Gea believes that new signing Marcos Rojo will bring "quality" to his side's defence.

The Red Devils secured the £16m signing of the Argentina international from Sporting Lisbon this week, in a deal that saw winger Nani move in the opposite in the direction

De Gea told the club's official website: "I think he'll bring a lot to the side because he is a quality player.

"What I like about him is he brings the ball out of defence and plays it on very well. He is comfortable on the ball."

Rojo will not be able to make his United debut on Sunday against Sunderland as his work permit has not yet been resolved.
