The midfielder travelled with the team to Chelsea for United's 3-3 draw on Sunday but did not feature.
He was due to play in a reserves game on Monday but the match was postponed due to bad weather.
The 22-year-old has not featured for the Red Devils since picking up an ankle injury in October.
