Former Manchester United defender Steve Bruce believes that the club will find a coaching role for Ryan Giggs, even if Louis van Gaal is appointed as the club's next permanent manager.
The 40-year-old, who is currently in temporary charge of the Red Devils, will reportedly name himself in the starting lineup against Hull City this evening for a final appearance at Old Trafford.
Netherlands coach Van Gaal is widely expected to take over at United following the sacking of David Moyes.
"If it is Van Gaal he'll have his own opinions but there's always going to be a place for Ryan," the Hull boss told BBC Sport.
"I'm sure they'll find a space for him somewhere. He will be treated properly, I'm convinced of that. I don't think he'll leave."
Giggs is not expected to be offered a new playing contract at the end of this season.
