Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has insisted that he is willing to "earn" a starting place up front for the Red Devils.
The Bulgarian, who has started only two games for the Premier League champions this season, was an unused substitute in United's 2-0 win over Otelul Galati in the Champions League last night.
"I want to get more chances because I know I can help the team," said Berbatov.
"I'll continue to give my best to earn my place in the team."
Meanwhile, the Red Devils prepare to take on bitter rivals Manchester City in a Premier League showdown this Sunday.
