Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez takes to social media to accuse his critics of 'talking shit'.

Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has hit out at critics of his club form last season, accusing them of 'talking shit'.

The 30-year-old moved to Old Trafford from Arsenal in January 2018 and became the club's highest ever earner, pocketing a reported £500,000 a week in wages.

The Chilean has struggled for form during his time at United, however, and last term found the net just once in the Premier League, while being benched by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for four of the last five games of the campaign.

Sanchez has impressed at the Copa America in Brazil over the last fortnight though, scoring twice to help his Chile side into the semi-finals of the competition.

"They profited, they healed, they talked shit about me. And I stayed quiet," he wrote in a post on Instagram, echoing the lyrics of reggaeton song 'Delincuente'.

"They slandered, they even locked in on me, but there is a judge up above (there is one up there)."

Sanchez has been linked with a United exit this summer although his sizeable wages are proving a stumbling block for interested parties.
