Manchester United's Luke Shaw "working hard" to return from double leg break

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is "working hard" to return from a double leg break that he suffered in September.

Manchester United have released images of Luke Shaw stepping up his recovery from a double leg break.

The England international was initially ruled out for six to nine months after his leg was fractured in two places when he was tackled during a Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven in September.

Earlier this week, Shaw showed signs of recovery when he was spotted attending United's early Christmas party without the aid of crutches.

Now, the 20-year-old has begun putting more pressure on his leg with swimming and using the club's bikes at the training ground.
