Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur round off a brutal and unforgiving week by visiting Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The contest will be their fourth match in the space of a week, but they have so far made light of that schedule by progressing in the EFL Cup and Europa League.

Jose Mourinho will also be pleasantly surprised that his side have come through it relatively unscathed so far as far as injuries are concerned.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up who is still on the treatment table for Tottenham ahead of Sunday's game.

Son Heung-min

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 17 (vs. West Ham United)

Mourinho initially forecasted that Son Heung-min would be out for "a while" after being forced off at half time against Newcastle last weekend, but then refused to completely rule him out of this match. It is still unlikely that the Korean will play, particularly with Mourinho unwilling to take any unnecessary risks over the fitness of a key player.

Giovani Lo Celso

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: October 4 (vs. Manchester United)

Giovani Lo Celso was forced off at half time against Maccabi Haifa, having already scored twice, after complaining of tightness in a muscle. The injury is not thought to be serious, but he is a doubt for this match.

Gareth Bale

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 17 (vs. West Ham)

A showdown against Manchester United, with whom Gareth Bale was continuously linked during his time at Real Madrid, would have been some stage for the Welshman to make his second debut for the club.

However, the match will come too soon for him as he continues to recover from a knee injury that he was carrying when he rejoined. Bale has been left out of the Wales squad for the upcoming international with England, but could be fit to return for Spurs when club football resumes.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no suspension concerns for their trip to Old Trafford.
