Man United injury, suspension news vs. Fulham: Alejandro Garnacho, Patrick Dorgu, Kobbie Mainoo updates

Red Devils to be missing 10 players? Man United injury, suspension news vs. Fulham

Manchester United will be bidding to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup when they welcome Fulham to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils will enter the contest off the back of a 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town in the Premier League, with head coach Ruben Amorim securing a much-needed home success.

Man United are the holders of the FA Cup, beating Manchester City in last year's final, and the 20-time English champions are aiming to lift the trophy for the 14th time this season, which would be a competition record alongside Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Fulham, who have never won the FA Cup but did reach the final in 1975.

Lisandro Martinez

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Martinez suffered a severe knee injury during Man United's Premier League match against Crystal Palace on February 2, and the Argentina international, who has undergone an operation, is now expected to be on the sidelines for the remainder of 2025.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw has only made three appearances this season due to ongoing injury problems, and the England international recently had a setback in his recovery from his latest issue; a return date for the 29-year-old is therefore still unclear.

Mason Mount

Status: Out Type of injury: Unspecified Possible return date: Unknown

Mount was again absent against Spurs due to the problem which forced him off the field against Manchester City in the Manchester derby in December, and the Englishman is still not close to making his return.

Jonny Evans

Status: Out Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: Unknown

Experienced centre-back Evans is not currently available for selection due to a muscular problem.

Altay Bayindir

Status: Out Type of injury: Unspecified Possible return date: Unknown

Bayindir has missed Man United's last four matches due to an unspecified issue, and the Turkey international will again be sidelined for the contest with Fulham.

Tom Heaton

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Unspecified Possible return date: Unknown

Heaton has missed Man United's last four matches due to an unspecified issue, and the club's number three goalkeeper remains unavailable for selection.

Kobbie Mainoo

Status: Out Type of injury: Calf Possible return date: April 1 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

Mainoo picked up a calf injury in training last week, and the England international is now expected to be missing until the start of April in what is a major blow for the Red Devils at an important stage of the campaign.

Amad Diallo

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Amad suffered an ankle injury during a training session last week, and the Ivory Coast international is set to miss the remainder of the season, with the attacker now working to return to training in July.

Toby Collyer

Status: Out Type of injury: Knock Possible return date: Unknown

Collyer has missed Man United's last three matches due to a knock that he sustained in training, and the midfielder is still not available to feature for the Red Devils.

Alejandro Garnacho

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Knock Possible return date: March 2 (vs. Fulham)

Garnacho will need to be assessed ahead of the contest, having picked up a knock during the win over Ipswich on Wednesday, but Amorim is hopeful that the Argentina international will be available.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Patrick Dorgu

Status: Suspended Possible return date: March 6 (vs. Real Sociedad)

Dorgu will be suspended for Man United's next three matches due to the red card that he was handed against Ipswich on Wednesday night, but he will be available against Real Sociedad in the Europa League next week.
