Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Man United injury, suspension list vs. Brighton

Manchester United will be bidding to bounce back from their opening-weekend defeat to Crystal Palace when they continue their 2020-21 Premier League campaign on Saturday afternoon.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side lost 3-1 to Palace at Old Trafford in their season opener and now face a difficult trip to the Amex Stadium to take on Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Red Devils will enter the match off the back of a positive result, though, having recorded a 3-0 win over Luton Town in the third round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up United's latest injury and suspension news.

Axel Tuanzebe

Status: Out Type of injury: Foot Possible return date: Unknown

Axel Tuanzebe has stepped up his recovery from a foot injury in recent weeks by returning to the grass at Carrington. The versatile defender is still not available for selection, though, and could remain on the sidelines until the middle of October.

Phil Jones

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Phil Jones is still on the sidelines for United battling a troublesome knee problem. The 28-year-old only made two Premier League appearances for the Red Devils during the 2019-20 campaign, largely due to injury, and it is unclear when he might be available for selection once again.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

United have no players suspended for this weekend's clash against Graham Potter's side.
