Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has reportedly trained with his teammates ahead of Wednesday's Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
The 28-year-old missed United's 4-0 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday with a bruised toe that he sustained in the first leg a week ago.
According to BBC Sport, Rooney trained with the rest of the United squad with a view to being involved in the match at the Allianz Arena.
Midfielder Ryan Giggs is also said to have taken part in training after he missed the Newcastle match with a hamstring injury.
The tie is currently poised at 1-1 after Bayern came from behind to score an away goal at Old Trafford last Tuesday.
