Manchester United announce singing section for Real Sociedad match

Manchester United will open a singing section at Old Trafford for the visit of Real Sociedad in the Champions League on October 23.

The area will be located in the south-east corner of the stadium with Sociedad's fans moving to the East Stand.

Writing on Twitter, United midfielder Michael Carrick said: "Great idea to have a singing section. If I was going as a fan that's where I'd be."

Season ticket holders will get priority, while any tickets that remain unsold will be available to club members.
