Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal satisfied by Champions League draw

Louis van Gaal reveals that he is satisfied by Manchester United's draw in the Champions League group stage.

Louis van Gaal has claimed that Manchester United's group-stage opponents in the Champions League "could be worse".

The Red Devils were drawn against PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow and Wolfsburg during Thursday's ceremony in Monaco.

United booked their place in the group stage of the competition in midweek by beating Club Brugge 4-0 in Belgium.

When asked about the outcome of the draw, Van Gaal told reporters: "It could be worse but it could be better also. I am not so interested. We have to look now to the clubs because these days shape is more important than it was in the past."

United resume their Premier League campaign on Sunday when they face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
