Michael Carrick praises Manchester United win at Bayer Leverkusen

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has hailed his side's 5-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday.

David Moyes's team progressed to the last 16 from Group A courtesy of their biggest away win in the competition.

"Have to say that's the Utd we know right there," Carrick wrote on Twitter. "Best I've seen us for a while. To a man we were bang on. Giggsy hahaha how old???"

Carrick missed the contest at the BayArena with injury.
