Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick in just 13 minutes 12 seconds as Manchester City moved four points clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Watford.

Daryl Janmaat's clearance hit Sterling and went in for the opener, but the forward appeared to be offside when played through by Sergio Aguero although the goal was given.

Sterling's second goal came quickly after the contentious opener and his third was a smart finish, taking his tally to 18 for the season in all competitions.
