Fulham 'enter race for £16m-rated Oleksandr Zinchenko'

Fulham 'enter race for £16m Zinchenko'

Fulham have reportedly entered the race to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City this summer.

The likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old midfielder, who also featured at left-back on occasions last season.

The Telegraph reports that Fulham are willing to get involved in a bidding war with Zinchenko's other potential suitors as they do battle for the youngster.

Wolves were understood to be lining up a £16m offer, but their fellow newly-promoted rivals are now thought to be considering a higher bid in an effort to convince him to move to Craven Cottage.

Fulham have already pulled off a major transfer coup with the signing of Jean Michael Seri, who reportedly turned down the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea in favour of the Cottagers when he put pen to paper earlier today.

Slavisa Jokanovic is also eyeing a move for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of their return to the Premier League.
