Everton plot Joleon Lescott return?

A report links Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott with a return to Everton in a £4m transfer.

Everton are reportedly keen to re-sign Joleon Lescott from Manchester City.

The 31-year-old left Goodison Park for City in 2009 in a deal worth around £22m.

However, after four years City are prepared to part with the centre-back, who has recently entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Etihad Stadium, according to Goal.com.

The report added that City have placed a £4m price tag on the England international.
