End of an era? Ederson 'reaches agreement' over Man City exit

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has reportedly agreed personal terms with Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.

Ederson has seen his future become the subject of much speculation after entering the final 12 months of his Man City contract.

The Brazilian was linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, just a year after a move to Saudi Arabia failed to transpire.

However, Galatasaray have recently emerged as the frontrunners to prise the goalkeeper away from the Etihad Stadium.

Galatasaray reach agreement with Ederson

According to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the Turkish giants have now reached an agreement with Ederson over personal terms.

Having given the green light to the move, Ederson has seemingly decided that it is the right moment to call time on his eight-year stay at Man City.

Galatasaray still need to strike an agreement with Man City before they can sign Ederson as Fernando Muslera's replacement.

It was recently reported that Galatasaray have already submitted a £2.6m offer, but journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Okan Buruk's side are yet to make an official bid for the shot-stopper.

However, Man City expect Galatasaray to make their first formal bid in the near future.

Who will replace Ederson at Man City?

From Man City's perspective, they seem to have already come to terms with the prospect of Ederson leaving this summer, having identified Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford as a potential replacement.

Man City are now believed to be advancing in talks with Burnley for Trafford, with his potential arrival likely to pave the way for Ederson to depart.
