Manchester City have announced the signing of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract and moves to the Etihad Stadium for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £26m.
Donnarumma, who completed his medical in his native Italy and will link up with Man City after the international break, becomes Pep Guardiola’s seventh and final signing of the summer transfer window.
The arrival of the 6t 5in Euro 2020 winner comes just two hours after Man City confirmed the sale of goalkeeper Ederson to Fenerbahce in a deal worth around £12m.
Donnarumma has departed PSG on sour terms, as he was frozen out of Luis Enrique’s squad earlier this summer after failing to agree terms over extending his contract beyond June 2026.
Widely regarded as one of the best shot-stoppers on the planet, Donnarumma inspired PSG to their first ever Champions League triumph last season and won nine trophies during his four-year spell in Paris, including four Ligue 1 titles.

Man City signing Donnarumma could make Premier League debut vs. Man United
Donnarumma will battle with fellow new signing James Trafford for regular starts between the sticks at Man City, and Guardiola could be tempted to hand the former his Premier League debut in one of the biggest games of the season.
Man City will prepare for the latest instalment of the Manchester derby after the international break, with the Citizens to lock horns with bitter rivals Manchester United at the Etihad on September 14.
Donnarumma could immediately haunt a Man United side who were credited with a strong interest in the goalkeeper this summer before deciding to sign Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on deadline day.
Man City’s latest addition has admitted that he has admired the club from afar for “many years” and he is now looking forward to working under Guardiola, who he has described as “one of the greatest managers in the history of football”.
“To have signed for Manchester City is such a special and proud moment for me,” Donnarumma told the club’s official website.
“I am joining a squad packed with world-class talent and a team led by the one of the greatest managers in the history of football in Pep Guardiola. This is a club every player in world football would love to join.
“I have admired watching Manchester City for many years - so to now be able to play for the club is a huge honour and a privilege.

Viana has "no doubt" that Donnarumma will add quality to Man City
“I cannot wait to meet my new teammates, the staff and the fans. Playing at the Etihad Stadium will be very, very special for me.
“I am very excited for what lies ahead and can promise that I will give absolutely everything to try and help the club achieve even more success.”
Director of football Hugo Viana added: “Gianluigi’s pedigree, quality and record speaks for itself, and we are all absolutely thrilled he has joined us here at City.
“He has accumulated a wealth of top-level experience and knows what is required to achieve success on a sustained level.
“From a remarkably young age, he has played at the very top level. That is unusual for a goalkeeper and it means he arrives here as one of the best in the world in his position.
“There is no doubt Gianluigi will bring further quality and depth to our top-class goalkeeping department.
“Everyone here is very excited to welcome Gianluigi to Manchester City and we wish him all the very best during his time here with us.”
It is understood that Donnarumma will don the iconic No.99 shirt at Man City, which he previously wore at his first club AC Milan, and also for two seasons at PSG before switching to No.1
