Manchester City face a fight with Juventus to sign Spanish youth international Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria, according to reports.

Manchester City are reportedly ready to fight with Juventus for the signature of Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang this summer.

Obiang has been heavily linked with Roberto Mancini's side for much of this season after a string of accomplished displays in Serie A.

The 21-year-old is a Spanish youth international and has been a regular at Sampdoria for more than two seasons.

According to talkSPORT, Mancini is desperate to fend off competition from Italian giants Juve to sign Obiang as he plans to strengthen his squad in the close season.

City face stiff competition from the Old Lady, who are thought to want Obiang as Antonio Conte aims to build a team capable of fighting on multiple fronts next season.
