Mario Balotelli's agent tells Italian clubs that the Manchester City striker is worth £60m.

The agent of Mario Balotelli has claimed that the Manchester City forward is ready to sign a new contract at the club.

Responding to reports that the former Inter Milan player could return to Italy, Mino Raiola warned clubs that Balotelli is "too big" to return to Serie A.

Raiola said: "Mario is well in Manchester and perhaps he'll extend his contract.

"My feeling is that it won't be easy for him to return to Serie A. He is too big for Italy.

"If Inter and AC Milan have difficulties in finding £25m to invest on Tevez, how can they pay £50m or £60m for Balotelli? This is the value of Balotelli, he's No 1."

Balotelli was forced to limp off in the first half of his side's 1-0 loss to Liverpool in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday evening.
