Sergio Aguero indicates that he is open to a move to England.

Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero has indicated that he is open to a move to England, paving the way for Manchester City to launch a fresh approach for the Argentine.

The 23-year-old is seen as a perfect replacement for Carlos Tevez, should his wantaway compatriot secure a transfer.

"I have made clear in my statement that I do not see myself at Atletico," the striker told Argentinian radio station Radio La Red.

"I will seek the best for me, I know that my representatives are working and for now I don't want to think about it. I will do something after the Copa America, when I am able to think calmly."

Aguero, who has a release clause of £38m in his contract at Atletico, said that he sees moving to England or staying in Spain as his only options.

"If I said I saw myself at Atletico, I'd be lying. I'd prefer to play in Spain or England, those are the two best countries," he added.

Aguero has been in good form at the Copa America, leading the scoring charts with three goals in three games. He is likely to feature in Argentina's quarter-final clash with Uruguay on Saturday night.
